Baby Blue Eyes

I found this little baby Jackdaw today, poor little thing had fallen from its nest, it often happens here, they usually nest in the old bridge near my house, but when they fall out the parents usually dont notice them and they just sit on the rocks till they starve, get eaten by something or washed away
Seeing as its pouring of rain and the river is rising I didnt think he stood much chance, now I have gave him a good look over I'm 100% sure he stood no chance if I had left him, he has a old scab on his head, a partially blind eye perhaps caused when his head was injured, one leg looks like it is healing from a break and the foot of that leg cant grip properly
He has just had a little feed of some mealworms
fingers crossed he survives his ordeal, at least he is safe here and now stands a chance
